My students need new seating for groups and snacks for snack time to help them have successful transitions. We need a glider rocker, couch, granola bars, and book baskets.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have twenty amazingly active, eager learners who love to move around a lot. Learning is always enjoyable, and there is never a dull moment. We come from all areas and many different backgrounds; our school is in a very low income area, and most only get the chance to eat at school.
I strive to run a successful class daily, but know helpful instruction includes having proper materials and nutrition.
With the help of Donors Choose, I hope to help my students excel the best they can.
My Project
The materials I have requested will make a difference because the food will nourish my children, allowing them to feed their bodies which will help their brains function at a higher thinking capacity. They struggle to find proper nourishment already, coming to school a lot of times not having eaten since they came to school the day before. I can only do my best as their teacher to provide as much as possible for them to be able to help them thrive.
The furniture will give them a comfy place to learn as they are practicing their reading skills; I know reading is a new concept for them, but we are developing tomorrow's future and I want the best for them so that they want to learn.
I want them to have the desire to learn as much as I have the desire to teach them!
