My Project

What I love about the students at my school is that they are full of the resilience and do not ever give up. The students at my school are here for their last chance to graduate. It is beautiful seeing them walk across the stage and get their diploma after so many struggles.

The students at my school often come to school hungry.

Nearly half of the students at my school are at or below the poverty line. The Owl's Nest, our student lounge, provides nutritious snacks for students to take to class with them so that they are not so hungry and can learn better.

No one can learn when they are hungry. Please help provide my students with healthful snacks so their brains have the nutrition to function properly. Students should not be at a disadvantage just because of hunger. Let's level the playing field a bit so that everyone at school has the best advantage.
