Feedback With Technology

My Students

My students are part of my general education classroom. Each day, they are reminded that they can achieve what they set their mind to - they just need help in making goals, tracking their progress, and working to achieve what they thought was once impossible. Slowly but surely, we are revamping the instructional environment, together, and discovering what it means to really put yourself out there!

My Project

These materials will aid the process in implementing a technologically-advanced instructional model. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, students are struggling with academic skills necessary to be successful in the next step of their lives - educational or not. These issues can not be confronted or remedied within a traditional classroom mode due to lack of space, time, or resources. These issues require multi-tiered system of supports, and the classroom environment is a huge component in the MTSS model.

The materials within this project allow the instructor to move from student to student within the physical classroom and provide direct instruction, feedback, and intervention without, metaphorically, leaving the confines of the traditional desk/computer set-up.

This accessibility is beneficial for the instructor and student alike, especially when paired with our learning management system. The faster that students receive formative feedback, the sooner they can practice, revise, and ultimately create something out of their understanding of content, material, or specific skill.

This model lends itself outside the physical walls and into the homes of hundreds of learners. From there, students can continue to wonder, think, and work, due to the consistent feedback provided throughout the day by the desired instructional tool.
