Help me give my students instant feedback during the rehearsal process. The Tascam audio interface will allow me to record large and small ensembles so we will have instant feedback of performances.
My choir is a cross-section of the entire school very much mimicking the basic look of the school. This year's choir is very special in that we have had a great turnover in the last two years with graduation and a growing transient population coming in and out of our school.
This year's group, being on the young side is in a growing process but is very attentive and hardworking.
I believe that with the proper guidance and feedback, they will be one of my best choirs.
We are not even one month into the school year and they are showing me very solid musical skills. They have found their ensemble voice well and allow me to help shape their sound. I could not be happier with them and their results.
My Project
The Tascam Audio Interface connected to a PC will be instrumental in recording my choirs (big and small) during the rehearsal process. This will allow them instant feedback on what they sound like and inform their performance of music in preparation for concerts.
Along with microphones I already have on hand and free 16-track recording software, the interface and XLR cables will help connect my students to instant feedback.
The Tascam stereo component will fit nicely in the classroom stereo cabinet and send the output to the speakers.
Giving to this project allows students to become more informed music consumers.
