We are a small rural school and we do not have a lot of funding for all of our departments. I have a great group of kids this year and they are very talented. I am trying to go above what we normally do in art to drive their creativity and to challenge each of them. I want my students to succeed and to be better than just average. I am very driven to push them to be the best that they can be. Right now our supplies are very limited we have a bowl of crayons, some donated markers, and just a little donated manilla paper. I want my kids to be able to do more projects.
I would love for my art students to have a more well-rounded opportunity to express their artistic abilities.
With the new art supplies, this will allow us to have a chance to do more art projects in different areas and ways. I would be able to give my kids different paper to draw and paint on and I would also be able to offer different things to create with. The supplies will be greatly appreciated.
My Project
There are so many ways that students can use art. We are wanting to do some extensive art projects using watercolors and special paper. Right now we have markers and crayons and just plain white paper. I want to be able to provide the kids with sketch pads that they can take home and out and about and do various types of drawings.
Students gain a lot of benefits from art and these supplies such as the paints and the pens and markers will let us do these special projects.
We would be so excited to be able to use these special supplies to create art at school.
