I am a pull out teacher who only gets 1 1/2 hours with the fourth, fifth and sixth graders per day. I am always looking for a way to make my lessons quick and snappy, but allow all of the students to participate. I have found that a great way to do this is with individual dry erase boards. The students can quickly write answers, sentences, or math problems. When the students finish, they can hold them up for me to see and I can quickly evaluate who has mastered the lesson standard and who needs more help. Best of all, the students love the chance to write with the colorful markers and to show off their work. In order to do this activity in class, I will need twenty individual dry erase boards, twenty sets of markers and twenty erasers. This will be such a great activity and will really spice up my lessons. The students love to use them and I can accomplish so much! Thanks for reading my proposal.
