This school is full of hardworking and creative students. Our students have a variety of challenges to learning including autism, ADHD, and behavioral-based struggles.
The special needs of our students mean that we, as educators, must endeavor to have creative and fluid lessons to keep our students engaged.
Many of our students have individualized education plans (IEPs). This means we must be adaptive in our thinking and also responsive to each student's needs within the classroom.
My Project
Student council normally runs the concession stands at the basketball games for our school. We need snacks in order to be able to do that.
The concession stand fundraiser will generate proceeds that are used towards hosting school dances, parties, providing prizes and other similar ideas to boost school spirit and help our student body feel valued and have fun.
These items will help us start the season off ahead of the game and allow us to start with fresh, yummy, and appealing snacks for our home team and visiting team supporters.
