I teach in a wonderful public school. My students come to school eager and ready to learn. Their love of learning shines daily. They make every day a wonderful adventure.
My school serves a very diverse population.
The school covers grades kindergarten to eighth grade. It is a Title One school in which all students receive free lunch. There are students with many diverse abilities. We have many students who receive ELL and special education services. All of the students come to school every day eager and ready to learn.
My Project
I am always looking for ways to differentiate instruction for all my students. I also understand that students do not all learn the same way. Some students need something more than conventional practices in order to be successful in their learning. The math fluency kit that I am asking for does this and so much more.
My students need lots of visuals to help them learn, and this kit will provide exactly what is required.
This requested math fluency kit will help my students build their number sense. The kit includes visual cards, math talks, 10 frame cards, number strings, Rekenreks, and so much more. I plan to have my students use these materials everyday during our math block.
