Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My project will replinish our art center, block center, and math center. The art materials will let my students create freely and express their feelings through art. With the shape activities I selected they will meet Early Childhoold standards through fun filled learning in whole and small groups, as well as in centers. The block sets will enhance our block center by providing different types of blocks besides the standerd wooden blocks, therefore encouraging imagination and enhancing congnitive devolpement. All of the materials will be used by my students freely and in small group or one on one settings to meet specific Early Childhood standards and objectives and to encourage learning through play or to provide cleanlyness and saftly. It is my hope that you feel the same way and provide the means for my students to have a meaningfull, fun and exciting school year. Thank you for you generocity and love for students and education.
