Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
"This marker is out again!" This is a constant problem in my class. Dry erase markers are hard to come by with budget cuts and especially how expensive they are. We also need pencils and erasers.
We are a Title I school, and all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Most of our students come from low-income families.
These supplies will help my students during small group instruction, and stations where they will learn independently. I hope that you will consider our project! Thank you.
My Project
These writing supplies will help motivate my students to stay dedicated to writing in small groups and during stations.
My students will do anything for a mechanical pencil.
It happens to be a very coveted writing utensil.
Dry erase markers are used during my small groups where my students can write ideas and I can help them write sentences or correct their spelling.
It seems like my erasers are poked, chewed, or just plain ripped apart. My hope is that with fancy writing materials like the decorative erasers and pencils the students will take better care of them. My students will only improve with your help and generosity. Thank you!
