I teach 24 Kindergarten students at a Title I school in Greenville, South Carolina. My students are beginning to learn to read and write, as well as, identify numbers, count, add, and subtract. Each of my students has a lively and spunky personality. They come to school eager to learn and interact with their classmates.
My students love coming to school and I look forward to seeing them every day.
My class loves to play outside, read, play games, and give me and my aide lots of hugs. They are a dedicated bunch that works hard every day.
My Project
My school is a Title I school, therefore most of the parents and students in my class cannot afford all of the materials requested at the beginning of the year. I use the money my school provides to buy these materials, instead of other fun materials to make my class and our day more exciting.
The book pouches and chair covers, that I requested, will help my students and I become more organized, as well as, provide my students with book bags to take home with them and the necessary storage to store their reading materials.
Having these new items will allow my students to learn and grow to their fullest potential.
