Family Health Anatomical Model Needed

My students need a human anatomy model to learn about the organs, their systems, and how they work together. This will really help those students who are visual learners.

My Students

Students in my Family Health class engage in hands-on learning, fun and applicable labs, and learn how to live safe, healthy, and full lives.

The students in my school are very diverse and our free and reduced lunch percentage is at 58%, but despite the barriers faced by many of our students, they show up, apply themselves and succeed.

Our school has a large variety of programs that fit our diverse needs and allow for abundant opportunities for travel, work-based learning, and college academic credit.

My Project

Students will be using the torso model to learn about the organ systems and the organs involved in each one, how the body functions, and what the organs look like. I love to teach using hand-on techniques, and having a tangible model where students who learn kinesthetically can participate, is important to their success in class.

Having a variety of resources and educational tools is important for effective teaching, and any tool that can improve my teaching and my students' learning, benefits us all.

My students don't have a lot of access to information about the human body, and I feel that if they can learn about how their body works, how to keep it healthy, they can live long and productive lives.
