Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fun, energetic and loving. They give hugs every chance they get and they enjoy being at school. Pre-k is the first step in their education journey and I am happy to be the first chapter in that adventure.

My Project

Every year I get my students a gift for Christmas. In the past years it was school supplies, coloring books, crayons or items from the dollar store. Last year I was a remote teacher and didn’t get to see my students.

What I did get to see was families coming together.

I saw parents helping their children use an iPad, reading books, and assisting in the learning. I am asking for games, games to send home as gifts for children to play with their families.

Family time is important just as much as learning in school. The games will not only help with family time but also communication and showing that learning is fun with games like Connect Four.
