My Students

Our school is a small K-8 school in the heart of the Central Valley of California. We are surrounded by dairies and farms just outside of our little town!

Being a small school brings such a unique experience to our students as we have a family atmosphere!

We are able to bring older students together with younger students ways most schools are unable to do. It really works to bring about a community of learners rather than just a bunch of people attending the same place.

My Project

Spot It is a great card game for building observation skills. In this game, you have to be the first to discover the object on your card that is also on the draw pile card. It is a fast paced card game that can be played alone or with family members.

It is my goal to help families find fun family activities that will also enhance necessary skills students need!

What makes this game so great is you get a different play experience each time you play because the way the cards are designed. Building these observational skills help students become critical thinkers and prepares them to look closely at details.
