My students are amazing! I'm excited to have such a great group of children! Not only do I have a great group of kids to work with, but we also have amazing families. I love getting to talk to parents at drop off and pick up each day. This helps foster an amazing home to school relationship.
Almost half of the children in my class are from low-income households, and our program focuses on the entire child and their family helping them with any needs that they may have.
Together we form a supportive community and focus on preparing them for kindergarten.
My Project
With everything going on right now many families are facing a financially hard time. I would like to take that stress away by supplying a special meal to all of them.
I would love to supply each of my families with all of the sides they need to create a fun family meal that can make and enjoy at home together.
Eating together as a family is a great learning experience for my students. They can talk about their day at school during the meal and share stories with their families.
