My Students

Our classroom consists of students with a wide range of backgrounds. Every child is different and requires individualized instruction to fit those needs.

Even though we are different, we all work with each other to set goals as well as accomplish our goals.

We support one another and build the inner wealth of our classmates. We recognize the greatness that we see in each other by sharing what we see regularly. Our class is like one, big, happy zebra family!

My Project

Having the right materials at my student's fingertips will help them focus on falling in love with reading. Providing my students with a lamp that has several settings will help to create soft lighting during independent reading time. This will make my students more comfortable, which will help them to get settled and open a book quicker. This is so important...every second counts! When each student has his/her own book bin, it allows them to take ownership in their reading by being able to choose their own books from our classroom library. Allowing every child to have his/her own book baggie will help to transfer their love of reading from the classroom and into their own homes.
