Our Band and Orchestra is young music program growing to become one of the elite instrumental ensembles in North Carolina. More than three‑quarters of students come from low‑income households. The ensembles offered at Concert Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Band.
Our students are hard-working and dedicated to becoming better musicians everyday.
They have reignited the instrumental program this prior year by putting on amazing performances at local parades, concerts, and adjudication festivals. Our students plan to take the next step in becoming an elite band this upcoming year.
My Project
The musicians at our middle school are working hard to become one of the elite middle school ensembles in North Carolina. The new percussion instruments will help instill a sense of pride in our students and also provide the instruments necessary to complete the instrumentation for the pieces we are performing.
The drum set will be the most vital instrument addition to our percussion section.
Our middle school band members are in need of a drum set due to a majority of songs the students want to play require a drum set. The bass drum stand, mallets, and wind chimes are accessories to match the mallet instruments and have a secure place for the concert band drum.
