My students come into school eager and ready to learn! I love the excitement with which the students enter the class as they enter kindergarten. They are part of a school with mixed low- and middle-income families that work hard to meet every student's needs to grow and succeed!
My hope is to instill the love of learning in each of my students every year!
It is my job to help build their independence and to grow these students socially, emotionally, and academically!
My Project
These STEM kits will help to bring fairy tales to life! It will allow me to help connect the literacy concepts and skills we learn to the math and science! Students will be able to use the STEM kits when we are learning about the stories in literacy and also when we learn about that concept in math or science. They can use the tools to build a three pigs house for example or help the Gingerbread man get across the water without getting wet or eaten! They will absolutely love being able to bring these stories to life and to be in the story too!
