Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

What is the best part of teaching 4th graders? They are curious and they love learning about EVERYTHING!

My students are constantly asking questions about the past, the present and the future.

Many times their questions are connected to something/someone we are learning about. Other times their questions are guided by their natural curiosity and wonders about their world.

The books in this project are meant to serve as resources for them to explore their interests and add to their wealth of knowledge about people, places and things. Many of them have been requested by my students as they are high-interest and engaging texts that they are eager to get their hands on!
