My students are determined, energetic learners with a passion to explore and grow. Despite the hardships they face, my students walk into the classroom each day with big smiles, ready to learn!
My school is an inner-city school with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch.
Many students live in poverty, struggle with the English language and have extremely limited resources. Some of my students are homeless or in foster care. Others are new to the country, while some live with a caretaker other than their parent.
My Project
This project will be used to enhance our End of the Year Spree Day. We want to make sure the students have a fun and memorable end of the year celebration filled with activities they love.
Last year a student said, “Spree Day was the best day of my life!” With your support, we can make Spree Day 2020 just as amazing.
The supplies I’m requesting will be used on a face paint table during Spree Day. Each student in the school will be able to have their face painted! The bubbles will be used by the students waiting to have their face painted.
