This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first grade class is full of 25 little learners that come to school excited and eager to learn. After having kindergarten online for either partial or the complete year, I know the students will be so eager to learn in a physical classroom setting. I look forward to teaching them lifelong skills and to get them excited to be successful learners for the rest of their academic careers.

Students walk in and have so many different levels (academically and socially), so it is in my hands to assist in their development in every way that I can.

Our school might be located in a low socio-economic area, but it is rich in the agriculture and community we are surrounded by. We live in a very agricultural area, known as the Salad Bowl of California, and a lot of their families contribute to the produce the world consumes.

My Project

I am requesting suitable face masks to help stop the spread for my students. Since my learners have such little faces, it is really difficult at times to get them to wear their face mask appropriately as they fall down their noses.

I am requesting these special masks as they have adjustable ear loops so they can fit students properly and securely.

Let's eliminate the distraction of students adjusting their mask constantly by getting those that fit! Help students stay safe and healthy here at school on a daily basis.
