Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are more than where they come from or where they live. My students have more potential than I ever imagined my classroom would have.
They are dreamers, they are team players, they are hard working and more than any of those, they are inspiring.
Many of my students have hardworking parents who work late and many siblings to take care of before they even start to think about taking care of themselves. They are talented and motivated but just need a little more support to reach their full potential.
My Project
My students need these materials for incentives to do well on their assessments as well as basic classroom needs that our school district funds did not allow me to purchase for them.
We get $75 to set them up for success for a whole school year which doesn't even begin to cover some of these items.
With your help, my students will be able to have materials they need as well as be motivated to want to learn and perform.
My students are kind and eager to learn but need your help to succeed. I know we can have a great school year!
