Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are what I refer to as very different, no two are the same. My energetic students are eager to learn and want to be recognized for their hard work. My school has been recently reconstructed to three small high schools in one building. I teach a variety of students from the learning disabled to gifted. Through generous donations from donors like you, my students will benefit from this donation through an experience that will last a great lifetime.

My Project

I would like to build a photography club in the school to help students take professional pictures of what they do year long. The school currently doesn't have any photography equipment and getting the Sony camera that includes many accessories will give them the opportunity to store many photos and carry the Sony camera around the school with the bag. My students are eager to take photos of their different extracurricular activities that they do but lack the tools to showcase their work. With your donation, my students will benefit with the use of a good quality camera, memory cards and a storage bag. You will help us be the change for our students too show that we all care.
