My Students

This project is designed for our baseball program. We currently do not have an efficient way to film out games or practices. This would help the guys understand areas in which they need to improve upon. The guys are always working hard and trying to improve, but sometimes need to see what the coach is explaining so they have a visual understanding. Most every student on the team play multiple sports and all of the students work hard in the classroom to be successful. We would like to purchase a tablet that could be used at practices to film the players and then immediately show them the footage so they have instant feedback.

My Project

The use of the Surface will allow the players to film each other at practices and give immediate feedback. The coach will not have to upload something and wait until the next day for the guys to see the footage. The footage on the surface is clearer and more reliable than typical camcorders. We have guys that try to improve consistently and need a visual representation at times to have a better understanding of the areas in which they need to improve. Every member of the team works as hard in the classroom as they do on the field. They are a great group!
