My Students

My students come in every morning excited and ready to learn! They enjoy using all various types of technology to complete their centers and it is truly a motivational tool! My students love using the iPads as much as they can! I set high expectations for my students, and it shows.

I have a wonderful group of diverse students who are interesting and want to succeed.

They want to show excellence at everything they do, and they are hungry for more! My school is a high poverty school that provides breakfast to every student for free. Most of my students come from families that do not have much, and they are very happy and thankful for everything they get.

My Project

The Osmo would be used everyday during our literacy center time, and would help them to become better spellers. In my classroom the students are constantly completing a word work activity. I try to find fun and new creative ides to help motivate them, and the Osmo would meet that goal.

The Osmo would help to differentiate and meet every single child's educational needs.

This would motivate to them to want to learn how to not only spell the words we are working on in class, but it would also help to increase their vocabulary and introduce them to new words everyday! As a result this would also help them to become better readers, and to grow in their education. I feel that with this tool my students would also show improvement with their spelling grades.
