This year I have twenty wonderful 5th graders in my classroom! They are very excited about learning and are always striving for excellence in and out of the classroom. Our school is a small STEM magnet school drawing students from a large area so they come from many different cultures and socioeconomic levels.
My classroom holds a diverse community of learners.
Each day students go above and beyond in the classroom. Asking questions to deepen understanding, engaging others around them, and collaborating to complete assignments and tasks. Every day is filled with something new and exciting.
My Project
These items will help in my classroom so much! Within our classroom students have the opportunity to work collaboratively with their peers using a variety of supplies. The items I am asking for will really help encourage them in their learning journey.
Students are in constant need of more supplies and materials within our classroom.
We use index cards to make flashcards to support vocabulary across all subjects. Students are given time everyday to grab a spot around the room and read. The new books will inspire students during this time. The stools will give students more options for seating during this time and throughout the day in our classroom.
