Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class is an interesting mix of culture and all creative races who have the burning Spartan Spirit! We engage ourselves in STEM-based activities specializing in the field of Robotics and Computer Science. It amazes me how young minds think about great things that can help their community! Every day is a day to look forward to in class due to the number of things to learn and do, to accomplish a task.
In our class-home we develop a family that can help shape the future of our community!
My Project
Students nowadays lack creativity and imagination. They do not know how to address complex problems and are not prepared to go to college and in life.
The design thinking process helps build confidence and skills within the students.
It can be obtained by providing them great practice and experience in problem solving skill tasks to be creative innovations.
If my students get to use the Extraordinaires kits, they will help me help kids become great students and reinforce their problem solving techniques to be more successful. It also encourages them to learn to communicate their ideas more and be more ready for real life workforce challenges.
