My Project

My students love to write and create their own stories. They continuously use books they read to gain ideas for their own. With a variety of sticky notes, notepads, or sticky tabs, they can mark pages that give them inspiration and use them as a guided text to give more detail in their own writing.

We also use dry-erase lap boards in math on a daily.

We do warm-ups on them and it makes it easier for me to see the work they are doing and it's quick and easy for them to grab and set up on their own at the carpet.

Crayons and markers are used on a daily basis and are used multiple times throughout the day.

Young writers have a hard time keeping spaces between words, so the spacemen are a great tool to use when trying to remember a space in between words.
