Help me give my students a fun and cool environment to learn in. I chose items that would make learning fun for them, empower them, and also give them an incentive for a good job!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are in a therapeutic school which caters to their learning abilities. They need an extra push for the curiosity and passion for learning inside them. They are amazing kids.
They are curious, passionate, they love a challenge, and they love free time!
They can be very kind and helpful to peers and staff, love having classroom jobs, and they do very well in hands on activity. Overall they are an exciting and passionate group to teach and interact with.
My Project
The items I chose will increase the happiness learning can bring. I chose items that are in theme of everyday things the kids enjoy. I want to make learning fun again and engage them in new ways. For example I work at a therapeutic school and the pokemon cards are a MAJOR incentive for good work. I wanna show them good work will get rewarded.
I want the curiosity in them to thrive more than it already is.
Hence the books about the titantic which they are very curious about. I wanted to find new and creative ways to engage them in everyday learning.
