Help me give my students the gift of current events at their finger tips. Scholastic News is made specifically for 4th graders, which means that they will be able to get grade appropriate news in their classroom.

My students are a very diverse group of kids that are very motivated to learn. My students have an understanding that it is important to get an education in order to succeed in life. This, however, does not mean that they aren't silly once in a while. They are a great mix of fun and focused.
They are always willing to try new and difficult things.
I admire the way that they never give up and are willing to help each other when they see that their peers need help. They come from many backgrounds but when I see them collaborate with each other it really reminds me that in our classroom, we are one team, one family.
Scholastic News is something that I have been wanting for my students for a very long time. My amazing 4th graders are always asking questions and are very curious about the world. Scholastic News would provide grade appropriate text to all of my students as well as give them some insight into the world that they live in. I would like for them to be more in touch with learning about current events.
Scholastic News is going to change the way that my 4th graders view the world.
They will be using this resource not just to read grade appropriate text but also to respond to what they read. I want them to be able to form opinions about their reading and decide on whether they agree or disagree with a certain topic. My goal is to have them become more interested in the world around them.
