My Students
Hello! I teach a group of 24 third grade students. My students are from many different economic backgrounds and are very motivated to learn. There is also a very large variety of reading levels in this group of students.
My students are so full of life and personality. They love to independently read and adore getting new books in our classroom library. They are a great group of learners and I know they will do great things in their future!
My Project
Our classroom library is a little out-of-date. I am a new teacher and my classroom library was donated by a retired 2nd grade teacher. This teacher taught for 30+ years and our books are from a very wide range of years. My students love to read, however, my library does not have many of the books that truly interest my readers.
This list of books has been created by my students based off of common interests in our classroom, as well as different reading levels that are evident in my classroom. This project will help students gain more interest in their reading and provide my students with a greater variety of books in our classroom library.
