Help me give my students a subscription to Scholastic News Magazine!
A typical day is busy and filled with rich class discussion. My goal by the end of the year is for everyone to show growth and have a greater love for learning. "A person who won't read has no advantage over someone who can't." ~Mark Twain
My students have an enthusiasm for learning.
All of the students have different learning styles. Some are visual, some auditory, and some are kinesthetic learners. Their interests range from soccer and Minecraft to horses, guitar, and reading "Diary of the Wimpy Kid."
My students and I would like a subscription to Scholastic News Magazine to enhance our science and social studies curriculum. I will use this subscription to help students make connections to the world around them.
The magazines will serve as a tool to help all learners become more interested in the world around them.
I will use the quizzes and online resources that Scholastic provides. Many students don't like to read chapter books and this resource will still enable them to improve their reading strategies.
Thank you for your support and dedication to my classroom. Together we can help my students reach their fullest potential!
