My Students

My students are sweet, smart and curious. They have vibrant personalities and come to school ready to work. They are excited to begin their educational experience. We live in a suburban and rural area outside of Nashville, TN.

My students are anxious to learn and have ample opportunities.

We have a multi cultural classroom with loving and concerned parents, as well as a loving and supportive school that does their best to help my students learn and grow in a positive and community based school culture.

We love to laugh, learn and grow together daily.

My Project

Learning how to read and communicate feelings in a positive way are two major focal points for my kindergarten students. My students will receive weekly take home readers so they can build and strengthen their reading skills and vocabulary at school and at home. These readers will also inform my students of current events going on in our world. Throughout the day my kindergarten students are constantly learning how to verbalize and channel their emotions in a positive, effective manner. I am confident the Weekly Readers will be a great addition to our classroom by boosting their vocabulary in a fun and interesting way. They love to learn new things and strengthen their skills.
