Help me give my students current articles that are kid friendly. We are currently learning to explore Non-Fiction text in class, and having these KID FRIENDLY magazines will give us a variety of information!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at a Title I Academy. This will be my second year in a 3rd grade classroom but my 4th year of teaching.
My students absolutely love learning, especially when they are able to use technology.
We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners who are excited and ready to learn each year.
My Project
TIME for Kids is a current-events magazine that helps every child in my class read and enjoy learning. It also helps boost reading and critical-thinking skills that our children need to succeed in
the classroom, on tests, and beyond.
With journalists and former educators leading our editorial team, TIME for Kids brings reliable and relevant nonfiction text and primary sources into the
classroom.
With TIME for Kids, my students can read nonfiction articles about real events and issues that are important to them. Topics cover a wide range—from social studies and science to national and world news and geography. Because TIME for Kids is written at an appropriate level for each grade, it helps both teachers and parents discuss current topics with students. And, it helps students get excited to talk to one another about current events!
