Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are bright and full of energy. They have a variety of ethnic backgrounds, interests and academic goals. Many of my students share residence with other family members. Most of my students don't have the resources to learn online. Several of my students are using learning packets and live/ prerecorded lessons. Despite these challenges my students are eager to learn.

My Project

My Amazing students will have several expectations this school year. These new challenges, I like to call adventures, will require in depth planning and creativity. A reliable computer will provide my students with non-disruptive effective virtual lessons.

A high quality computer is a must in order for virtual learning to be a success!

My students will greatly benefit from the resources a laptop will provide. It will provide me with the technology to create engaging interactive lessons and videos. It will also provide several options for strengthening communication with parents. My students will also use the computer for projects when we meet in person during the school year.

Thank you for contributing to my distance learning project! Your donations will allow me to read novels to my students, demonstrate math and writing strategies and so much more. Virtual learning is possible with your help!
