Extra-Curricular Drawing With the Teacher! Fun for Kids!
Help me give my students an opportunity to draw by giving them art supplies. Since we have been doing distance learning, my students have not had an extracurricular activity because those teachers have been handling other tasks.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students have grown up in an inner-city; many of these children face poverty, violence, and obscenities of life on a daily basis that are well beyond what most of us could not imagine. Despite all of this, they come to school ready to expand their minds and continue to explore. My students continue to be hopeful and strive for their very best.
They are always looking to learn new things and explore different subjects more in-depth; they come to school hungry for knowledge trying to do their best to learn as I try to do my best to give them a good education and an introduction to the American way of life.
My school has limited resources, and the parents have even less, so anything that donors can do is so very appreciated.
These children deserve the best and I plan to keep doing my best to provide them with the skills and tools they need to be successful on their journey in life after leaving my classroom!
My Project
My students have been missing out on all the extracurricular activities because those teachers are not available to join our classes. Therefore my students are missing out on some very important opportunities.
I would like to give them drawing pads to go with their colored pencils so that they can use some of their creativity at home to continue their imaginative skills.
Letting them have some fun and enjoyment.
I would like to allow students time to let go and just be themselves. I know that students have been using copy paper to draw, and sharing it with the art teacher after we do a minor project during their art time. The art teacher is thrilled and so are the children. I would like to give them a drawing pad so that they have a place to keep all of their work to continue sharing.
