This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are 4 years old, Spanish speakers, from low income families, receiving free breakfast and lunch. Despite so many challenges they face, they are eager to learn and to do their best.

My little students love to move, play, create and talk about everything they do.

They like to explore new movements with their bodies while they play through games and sports.

They learn inside and outside the classroom. They need to exercise in different ways in order to explore their capabilities around the environment.

They need to build their muscles to develop their gross motor skills.

My Project

My students like to create and build in the block area every single day. They create fantastic buildings with the magnetic tiles, legos and others. I got the idea of giving them a present using donorschoose.org.

A set of Magna-Qubix 3D Magnetic Building Shapes as a Christmas present, will give them the happiness of a toy for this holiday with which they will continue creating after school.

This a great opportunity for them to get an educational toy they already love and like to use. I can not wait to see their happy faces when they get their present and all those buildings they will create with their imagination.
