Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Many of my students don't have the ability to learn online. Our school is 100% free lunch. Many depend on worksheet packets and whatever books they have at home. Despite the hardships they are facing with school being closed learning must continue!

My Project

Distance Learning is a very integral part of learning today. Distance learning gives for students the opportunity to work at their own pace and review work as needed. It provides greater flexibility in that students can access lessons at the times that work best for them. I am very interested in providing my students online learning opportunities throughout the duration of this school year.

I want to provide Distance Learning opportunities for the duration of the school year, over the summer, and possibly as a component of the permanent curriculum.

Students are sharing computers with siblings and parents who work from home so it is important for students who may have irregular work schedules to access learning at any time.
