This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an SEI school we value expression through different modes, and helping students explore the feelings they have had during Covid and being able to understand and explore what they are going through, and the world around them.

Covid has caused students to turn to media to express themselves losing social skills and creativity along with it.

Socially and emotionally their growth has been stopped.

I am requesting a VR headset, acrylic paint and brushes. Using the VR headset students will be able to enter the virtual world and express themselves through graffiti in the virtual world and create works of art through this method as well as nft's if possible. This will allow students to use a method of art not physically possible for them at our school. Students will have a theme chosen to express themselves and they will chose both to show this both virtual through VR and physically on canvas. These resources will help benefit our students to grow socially and emotionally again and express the feelings they have in a safe way, and help boost creativity.
