The majority of my students are ELL, meaning English isn't their first language. 85-90% of my students are on free or reduced-priced lunch. Low-income does not equal low expectations for our students!
We are proud of where we live and how we have grown to overcome many challenges.
As their teacher I want to them to feel safe and provided for. They are amazing children and they have big dreams.
Please help me in giving my students all they deserve!
My students will use the canvases to express how they have grown throughout their three years in art. Before they receive a canvas, the students will plan out their project several times using tips on how to create a successful composition. By planning out projects, students can problem solve any unforeseen issues so when it comes time to make their final project on the canvas, they are more successful.
Creativity is something that should be encouraged in everyone.
It helps expand your mind and think through problems in different ways. By painting on canvases, my students will be to share their accomplishments and strengths.
