Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One major side effect of COVID-19 over the past 2 years has been a lack of happiness and positivity around campus. Students and staff are exhausted and ready to get back to the way things were. Unhappy students and staff leads to lower morale on campus.

My project is to allow students the opportunity to express positivity through creativity.

I have been working with my leadership class to spread positivity and promote positive behavior throughout campus. We create positive masterpieces in class with paper and paint and then showcase them all around campus.

In addition to students in class working to spread the positivity we also allow students across campus to be a part of the experience. Whether it's as part of a club or during their advisory period, all students on campus are encouraged to participate. These supplies will allow my class to continue with this project and be able to expand on what we are already doing by being able to supply more groups with the supplies to participate.
