Help me give my students the joy of art. With these tabletop easels and large drying rack we can make painting an everyday experience in our classroom.
My students come to me eager to learn, and I am just as eager to teach them. I teach Transitional Kindergarten at a Title I school in Northern California. For many of my students when they enter my classroom, it is their first school experience. My goal is to foster a life-long love of learning for each child in my class.
The potential benefits from supporting early childhood development range from improved growth and development to better schooling outcomes to increased productivity in life.
My students are your future.
My Project
Help make painting an everyday experience in our classroom. With classroom space at a premium it's hard to roll out the big painting easels and set them up everyday which means we don't get to paint as often as we'd like to. These tabletop easels will allow us to have painting readily accessible at all times. Plus with this drying rack we no longer have to wait for our friends projects to dry before taking our turn.
Painting not only helps us communicate our emotions, it also helps us develop our mobility skills which will help us grow both mentally and physically.
Since there is no right or wrong way to paint the process also helps children develop self-esteem. It allows every child to feel successful regardless of their skill-level.
