Help me give my students the resources that will develop their creativity and expression. I have requested a lot of materials, including multi-cultural paper and crayons to aid in representing themselves.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
"Be brave enough to live creatively." This quote by Alan Aldo shows just how important it is to nurture our students' creativity and expression. It sets a foundation of self-awareness and self-confidence that will carry them throughout all aspects of their lives.
I teach in a district where over 90% of our students receive free and reduced price lunch.
My school is an early childhood center with Pre-K and Kindergarten classes. I teach full day Kindergarten. I currently have 17 students. They are the most inquisitive, curious, and excited group of 5 and 6 years old you will ever meet. They are passionate about learning and love using new materials and trying new things. They need constant stimulation and opportunities to learn and express themselves in different ways. I am always looking for new techniques and strategies to keep them interested and challenged.
My Project
I plan on using these activities in 2 ways. First, I would use them as an extension of our "All About Me" unit. They will be able to use the multi-cultural materials to express themselves accurately, such as the Make a Face sheets and the Peoples Colors crayons. It is important for them to see these options when we do these projects.
I want to give the students an array of choices to use in the art center to provide them with opportunities to express themselves more creatively.
Some of these options are the glitter shape stickers and the frames to display their art and photos.
