My Project

My students need the necessary supplies and materials to help them be successful in the classroom. Whether it's demonstrating knowledge through creative expression or learning through sketch notes, the right tools make all the difference. Various pens and markers allow students to analyze text through drawings, or create Character Trait Mandalas to demonstrate an understanding of the protagonist. Binders, 3-hole punches, and dividers help keep these projects and notes organized and at ready reach for continued learning, while Composition Books allow for ongoing creative expression students can refer back to for future inspiration. Students who need additional support understanding the material to analyze can put on headphones to block out the chatter of classmate collaboration and focus on tutorials to help each one be successful in their own learning style.

With so much of the last school year engaged solely in screentime, my students need to refocus and be reintroduced to the hands-on learning practice of expressing themselves and demonstrating their learning through paper and pen.

Although digital learning tools are important and effective, there is something special about the connection between the brain and pen to paper!

They also need to relearn the process of organizing their supplies for successful education. Having the necessary supplies effectively arranged for their functional use will ensure the success of every student.
