Words cannot describe how excited I am to have my first classroom! Due to the fact this is my first year teaching, I am trying to grow and expand my resources!
Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch.
My school is also one of the most ethnically diverse schools in the city, where students speak a multitude of languages. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are diverse in their academics. Every day, I make sure to welcome my students with a smile on my face and in return, they exchange a smile back, ready to learn and succeed. Despite many hardships my students may face, they are eager and put in their best effort. They know that our classroom is never about a perfect outcome; it is instead about the risks and effort put forth. My students certainly deserve a successful and engaging classroom where they can become lifelong learners.
My Project
Dear donors, my fourth-grade classroom is in need of receiving expo markers which are fine point as well as pencils. We are hoping to receive expo markers to continue our learning on whiteboards. Which occurs during our Mathematica lessons as well as additional lessons throughout our week. Students find using expo Markers more engaging. However, that being said we are also hoping for pencils so that as fourth graders We can use additional writing tools in our classroom especially during our writing block, as well as other lessons throughout our day. We thank you in advance for taking your time to read this.
