Exploring With Science Eyes Through Nature

My students need admission to the Dallas Arboretum and funding for a program at the Arboretum. They also need transportation to and from the Arboretum.

My Students

"Nature always wears the colors of the spirit." -Ralph Waldo Emerson My students will be able to have the opportunity of exploring nature at the Arboretum. They will have their “science eyes” and will be able to continue being scientists. They will be able to make the connections at the Arboretum to our Life Science Unit we have been learning about. They will explore with their learning and will be able to ask and answer their own questions.

My students come from a diverse background with an eager personality to grow with learning.

They love to ask questions while learning and love to make new connections. My students are explore’s, they love to observe and explore during any learning situation.

My Project

My students will be able to hold on to the experiences, connections, and memories of traveling to the Arboretum. They are learning how to make connections with nature and how it relates with Life Science. They will be able to learn about metamorphosis while participating in a program at the Arboretum.

Since my students come from very diverse diverse backgrounds, some do not have the opportunity to explore with learning by traveling to museums, exhibits, and other learning experiences.

My class will be able to experience a variety of learning opportunities at the Arboretum.
