Help me give my students creativity with a Cricut Explore Air 2 Machine
This project expired on March 24, 2020.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach at a high poverty school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch! I have high expectations that they will grow and learn beyond what is expected. We are learning skills such as robotics, coding, and typing along with our curriculum.
School is a safe and happy place for my students.
Each day, they come into the classroom excited about the day and spending time exploring and learning together. For many of my students, being at school is the best part of their day.
My project would be utilizing a Cricut Explore Air which is a die-cutting machine, similar to a printer to enhance learning. Images or designs can be made on a computer, then sent to the Cricut Explore Air machine to be cut out of various materials.
Connecting creativity with technology in Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and Art could be achieved with the Cricut Explore Air.
Manipulatives and projects could be made with the Cricut Explore Air to spark student's creativity and learning.
Having a Cricut Explore Air 2 will help in all areas of our classroom from labeling the room, centers, book bins, cubbies, personalizing projects, and much more! In first grade learning to read is KEY!
