My students come from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and in our classroom we celebrate our differences and work together to achieve our best. Because many of my students come from low income households, many do not have the tools to explore STEM concepts with gross and fine motor skills. I would like to give them all the opportunity to do so in my classroom.
We love learning about life science including land animals and sea life!
We also enjoy learning how things work! We are hoping to have items in our class to help us explore science!
The students will be able to explore nature and science using their fine motor skills when putting the space, farm, and ocean puzzles together. The range in puzzle size will be great for the different levels of skill in class. They will also use fine and gross motor skills when using the veterinary and construction tools! Once the puzzles are done, the students can tell stories about the ocean life, space, and farm life they see. They can discuss facts they know. Learning more about the world, nature, and animals helps students appreciate, love, and take care of nature and animals.
