My students need 25 back packs for an overnight field trip to Great Basin National Park.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Every year we take 150 fourth graders to Great Basin National Park for an overnight field trip.
Our school is a Title One, free or reduced lunch campus.
Our parents are very hard working and supportive, but can't always provide the enrichment their children need. This is the fourteenth year for our "Ely Trip". The students look forward to it every year.
My students need 25 back packs for an overnight field trip to Great Basin National Park. To keep things organized on the bus, we provide a backpack for our students to pack for the trip. If it doesn't fit in the backpack, it doesn't go. The pack also allows students to have their Nevada History resources available for down time on the bus.
Our goal as educators is to expose our students to as many positive experiences as possible.
We want our kids to grow up to be responsible adults, who are respectful of the environment. This trip exposes them to a natural setting they may never see on their own.
