My Students

My school serves around 450 preschool-5th grade students. My school is unique in the fact that we serve deaf/hard of hearing students, students with special needs, English language learners, and low poverty inner-city students.

Our school is a safe and loving environment that is welcoming to students with diverse needs.

Some of our students travel from all over the city to come to our program because we offer speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, audiologists, counselors, and psychologists. Our school is a place where students can feel at home due to the love and support from our staff.

My Project

COSI on Wheels introduces dynamic science topics to the entire school with a high-energy, 45 minute assembly followed by a day of hands-on activities that enhance inquiry skills, encourage curiously, and sparks an interest in science. COSI on wheels is an incredible program that comes to schools. Our school would love to have COSI on Wheels come for our kindergarten-5th grade students.

Families will be engaged in this full day school wide-activity with their children!

Families will be able to come volunteer and run their own science station! It will be a great experience for students to be with their families learning about our universe together!

This program will be a great way to students to interact with science in a fun, new, and exciting way.
